- Have a goal - keep in mind what you're working towards, and what you're going to achieve, to stay focused and motivated
You know you really want to get good grades. Your parents have put the pressure on, or you promised yourself you would do better. But how do you focus on studying? Read on for some good tips.
Method : Studying without noise
1
Find a place in your house that is the quietest or where you are comfortable.
2
Tell whoever lives with you that you are studying for a really big test and they need to keep the noise down.
3
Go into the room you're studying and take out all things that distract you.
4
Light candles or spray something to help make you relaxed while studying this will help you be less forgetful.
5
Once you are relaxed, organize everything you need to study and lay it out in order from hardest to easiest that way you do the harder ones first so if you get tired you'll know them already.
6
Don't eat anything that will upset your stomach while studying.
7
Eliminate all noises you think you might have missed.
8
Clear your head of anything that you will think about that hasn't got anything to do with studying or else your brain won't store most of the things you need to know and you'll forget.
9
Tell all your friends that you're studying and that you really need to and that you would appreciate it if they won't call, text, or come over, and distract you for the time your studying.
10
Put everything on silent. Your cell phone, your pager, your laptop, all your electronics, on silent and keep them in your closet. That way you won't get a text and want to answer it.
11 Try saying the matter aloud. That way there is more probability that you will remember it. And develop a habit to eat a flavored chewing gum or something while studying because our mind can relate the information with the taste(more neurons involved means more information retained). So that way whenever you will eat that flavored chewing gum in the exam you will be more likely to remember it
12Try to remember the matter you have learned without looking in the book.
